The only thing more frustrating than a computer going bad on you, ruining a bunch of content you were working on, is getting said computer back from repair shop, firing it up, beginning work on it again, only for the same thing to happen 30 mins into it running.... Sorry...needed a place to rant.

This isn't entirely related, but what kind of setup are you using to record the podcast, if you don't mind divulging secrets...

I don't mind sharing. What would you like to know the computer itself or the actual audio recording equipment?

Yeah I was just curious what kind of soundboard and mic you were using, bc the actual audio on the podcast sounds really good.

I am using a Alesis soundboard which uses a USB interface. I plug it in via USB port, and then the mics and headphones plug directly into the sound board.
I use Proline Mics.
The headphones are JBL, but nothing really fancy since the headphones really have no barring on how the audio will output. They are JBL headphones, I think they were about $10 each.
For the post-production I use Sony Audio Studio.
All the hardware I got from musiciansfriend.com

Cool. I have some experience with various soundboards and mics through school classes i've taken, so i was just curious as to what kind of set up you were running.
as i said earlier, the sound quality of the podcast is really top notch. thanks for sharing.
